Suggesting a DD:
I am one of the anime/manga GDs and do have the power to give out DDs, however, when suggesting a DD to me, please make sure that the deviation you are suggesting is relevant to anime/manga art (with the exception of fan-art, which should be suggested to the fanart GD). If you are looking to suggest a different kind of DD, please check the link "Gallery Director List" to find the appropriate GD to suggest your deviation to. If I am the GD you're looking for, you can suggest a DD by sending me a note with the following info:

Some of you may or may not have noticed my lack of updates in my gallery, journals or even DDs. I have been away for the past week or so due to some stressful life circumstances and I will be taking a bit of a break from my account here to unwind and catch up on a few things. Unfortunately since I still do not have a partner GD for the anime/manga category things might be a bit slow, I apologize for this, but I simply do not have anyone to help me out right now. Do not feel the need to stop sending DD suggestions or anime/manga gallery inquirers, I will catch up in the next few weeks. I will try to catch up on comments and notes here and there, but it may take some time and my duties to DA must come before personal comments and submissions.

No, please suggest fanart to the fanart GD. If I feature a fanart it is generally because I either found it myself, or someone suggest an original piece and while looking through the gallery found the fanart on my own and liked it more. If I feature fanart it is only once and a while and initiated by myself with permission from the fanart GD. But DA already has a fanart GD so please suggest fanart to her.
